Phantom camera performance

It's been suggested that DJI intentionally degrades the performance of their products. This may be a marketing ploy so they can sell you the same equipment down the road as a new and better performing piece of kit. It is suggested that the pro model camera is capable of 260mbs write speed but is cropped down to a mere 40mbs leading to poor performance issues, the industry standard is 100mbs... It is suggested that DJI is deceiving it's customers... Is it true... Sounds plausible. See the attached petition and sign if you see fitting.

Being new to the whole 4K camera scene...from my understanding after reading threads that are more technical than my current knowledge, 40MBS write speed is not fast enough for 4K when panning quickly...the information comes in quicker than the camera can write it (>40mbs), video footage becomes choppy or smeared as info is lost. Apparently 100mbs write is the industry 4K standard and the equipped camera is capable of much higher.

Not my campaign, read it and sign it or don't.

Seems like the frame rate would be the limiting factor in swift panning, but as Jackson suggested a while back; true filming should be 24 fps

I am really happy with the performance/cost of mine. My gopro with the 4.2mm lens will set you back further than a dji camera/gimbal combo that you can control from the remote.
I adjust my flying according to my settings.
