Painless360 vs. UAV Futures

Painless360 has to be one of the best out there when it comes to building, with well thought out and explained videos covering all aspects and quirks. Then came the rather annoying, always yelling UAV Futures who mainly covers pre-builts.

You used to be able to see how much they had raised with their Patreon accounts. No more.

These are a couple of screencaps from a month or so ago, from before the change.

Just saying. :)

Painless360 deserves more credit for what he does. He is great for this hobby. He covers just about every aspect of a build with accurate information. Even those with experience building quads and fixed wings can still learn something from him. I also agree that UAVFutures is quite annoying.

Painless360 is my go to whenever I need help to figure something out.

Well I think we have also seen a major shift in the hobby as manufacturers are now flooding the market with attractively priced BNFs.

Yea, two years ago I would have avoided BNFs completely. Even now, I would still recommend building at least one, so you understand the machine better.

Between Painless360 and JBardwell, I feel confident about the components I buy. So I will stick to building my own. Customization on these machines are endless.

G'daaaaay and todaaaaay we're going to review some more box goggles in three, two, one (claps hands)
... so Grumpy Trevor whatcha think about these bad boys, these bad boys have better optics than the last bad boys
we reviewed, but boy those were some bad boys, heh ? (grumpy Trevor) #!#@&*^)%#$@!

UAV Futures ? Never heard of 'em :p

... I wonder what Joshua "Today you're going to learn something" Bardwell is pulling in;
since he's now gone fulltime I'm guessing it's not too shabby ;) ... I've always liked his
videos, he gets more technical than most and I'm into that :D

I like JBardwell, as well. He puts together some honest & critical reviews. I especially like how he travels around and does interviews with people like the creator of Fatsharks.
