OMG ITS WAR

So now the bad ones out there are gioing to come up with counter measures and the war will go on. What a sad state of affair the world has gotten into.
 
The government would never give a communications disrupting rifle to civilians. The two net launchers may be legal, but the only people who will be paranoid enough to drop what I can only image would be thousands on those systems are the exact type of people who would use them for something illegal, and anything spinning 8 inch props or bigger would seriously hurt anything stupid enough to touch them.

I think we're still safe, for now lol
 
The police in Japan have a drone with a net fitted to chase and catch other drones (yes I have given up on saying that they are multirotor not drones as every one calls them drones lol )
 
So, here's the thing, if you are doing nothing illegal with it and flying it according to FAA rules, you have nothing to worry about. Except for some irate neighbor that shoots your quad out of the air, he has to deal with the police for discharging a firearm in the city limits. For you, your choice is to sue him if your quad was that Phantom 4 or just salt his front lawn while he's in jail for that firearm charge. Just don't get caught.
