Old guy from rc cars moved to quadcopter!

Hey guys!

First i will tell a little bit about my self.
Im 24 years, have been into rc car for many years, nitro car, petrol car and electric cars. Big fan of HPI, with Baja SS builds and the latest car, HPI electric Ken Block car. But i sold all my gear now, just owning a good lipo charger now. But ordered some new things!

I have never tried a quad, or any thing that can fly. So this is totally new for me. I was looking at some thing that was pre build, but think the prices was to high, and it was to easy just to buy something pre build. So i was looking youtube videos and found UAVfutures that made a video with a 99$ build. I was sold! Have ordered almost every thing from his build, and now just waiting for it to be delivery to me. Cant wait! Shipping times to Denmark is long, but its gonna be fun!

Hoping my first quad build will be "easy", without to mush trouble. And hoping if im running into too mush problems, you guys will help me getting done.

Welcome aboard ! :)

Here's a quick list of things you'll need (1-7) and likely want, but which are optional (8-13):
  1. Frame
  2. Motors x4
  3. ESC x4 (electronic speed controls)
  4. FC (flight controller)
  5. Radio transmitter and receiver (at very least 4 channels)
  6. Propellers x4 (2 clockwise and 2 counter-clockwise)
  7. Batteries & Charger
  8. PDB (power distribution board)
  9. FPV Camera
  10. VTX (video transmitter)
  11. VRX (video receiver, sometimes is a part of the display)
  12. Antennas x2 (5.8 GHz)
  13. Display (goggles or a screen)

    This doesn't include things like zip-ties, heat shrink tubing, double-sided sticky foam, etc. ;)
