No cleanflight connection

I had a crash today & No2 motor not spinning properly. So I went home to calibrate the ESC's but cleanflight won't connect to the board so I tried my other quad, which is working & the same. So I got a spare fcb not even opened out the bag & that is the same. It's like cleanflight has just give up. Checked baud rates & matched them. Nothing, So I restored my tablet & reinstalled cleanflight & still nothing. Has anyone come across this problem. Any help greatly appreciated. Oh I downloaded the android flashing app to no avail aswell. I'm gonna collect up all the usb cables I got but can't see making any difference. The cables I got now power the boards but just not connecting.

The cable I always have used in the past that has programmed all my quads can still send files to & from my phone/tablet and ps4 still. It must be a driver problem as I had a faulty usb on a naze so I orderd a ftdi downloaded the driver for it & I'm not to hot with all that stuff. I managed to get the fcb to connect to the ftdi but it was late & my head was battered so I clicked off & said I will do it in the morning. But next day I may have touched the wrong pin on the ftdi with the 5v,not to sure but nothing popped or smoked. I knew it connected because the circle on CF went red with disconnect. I spent all day on it restoring back to factory settings downloaded CF again but noticed with the usb hub I use was working as the tablet is picking it up but getting hot then slowing down & even now some of the apps that are pinned to start are missing icons. So Sunday morning I went out flying with quad number 2, had a crash went home to try calibrate the ESC as a motor was stopping & starting. But still nothing. So I'm thinking wtf, factory reset the tab again took all updates turned it off & charged it up. Downloaded CF again opened a brand spanking new naze32 out the wrapper & tried to flash it but still won't connect. Surely the drivers for the ftdi are gone after 2 restores. I paid £16 for the naze off eBay from the same seller I have bought the 3 before. They have always been OK. I don't know who originally makes the naze32 but there is abusemark. Com printed on all of them. So because the tablet gets hot now when I use the usb hub, that's why I thought have I shorted something when wiring the ftdi. But I have another go cable wit a micro usb to usb as tablets have only micro & hdmi ports. But nope, tested all leads on my phone & ps4 they all power & send receive data. So I'm stumped. My only option left is to buy a desktop pc. The battery doesn't last long on the tab anyway. Sorry my explanation is long winded but there it is. That's all I can think of. I have just seen a 2nd hand pc on eBay with Windows 8.1 4gb ram 500gb hdd & 12 month warranty for £80.
so if I buy this & a new data usb lead & it's still the same I will cry. Surely a new serviced pc with a fresh CF download & brand new naze should work.
 
Don't you know anyone with a PC that so you could see if it connects on their system? Buying a new PC to see if it'll fix a problem seems pretty extreme
 
It is but like I said the battery lasts about 30-40min & 2hrs charge time. It came yesterday for £74, refurbished Windows 8.1 4gb ram 500gb hdd clean & fast it was a bargain. But i was bummerd @ first, it was the same, no connection. I've never had to download STM32 drivers but after the download the 2 boards are working but the one with the bust usb I'm still to add the bluetooth card. Something good came of a bust usb. It is something I never thought of. But still puzzled as to why it just stopped working. The tab was only 4 months old & only used for cleanflight & emails. The latest fcb I got is over my head I didn't know it was a F3 DISCOVERY. I just been buying cheap naze32 rev6 £12 the only thing I knew was different is the barometer. But will probably nvr use it. Anyone have an idea what this board is for besides flying obviously. Oh & now I got a pc I noticed there is a cleanflight SIM configurator, also, any ideas ppl.
