Am a Quadcopter newbie and loving the hobby so far. Only using a Syma X8C with SJ4000 cam mounted. Still a little jello on the footage but thought i would share what i have so far.

Thanks for the reply - No i have not balanced them will look this up and sort that.
The camera is mounted using lightweight plastic case which just about fits the camera however is very secure. I have purchased an adapter from banggood which replaces the original camera mount and allows a Go Pro type locking bolt to hold the camera and mount.

His footage at the end looked pretty good. Using screws to mount it though is unnecessary and adds weight and complexity, some good double faced foam mounting tape (the permanent, outdoor type) would be easier, lighter and also help to further isolate the assembly.
He used the solid plate on top, the slotted one will probably fit right between the Syma tabs that he removed, Banggood shows it with 2 slotted plates.
