New To FPV and already messed up big time

Hi Everyone.

I'm just getting into the hobby and got my first FPV drone delivered yesterday.
Sadly I've already messed up before even getting a chance at flying.

I got the mana 285

gearbest
/multi-rotor-parts/pp_599156.html

I followed the instructions in the manual and flashed cleanflight 2.03. No probs. But I could not get RX enabled for UART 3 and the SBUS receiver setting just kept disappearing. I did something very stupid and disabled UART1 MST and now I can no longer connect or reflash. I tried full chip reset and set the correct manual baut rate but keep getting "no response from the bootloader, programming failed". No one seemed to have found a boot pin on this quad and the "recovery / lost communication" instructions mentioned one. I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone got any advice what I could try? I also tried flashing betaflight and get the same error.

Thanks for reading.

I'm not allowed to post links (yet). If you search for Mana 285 on gearbest its the only result and there are two reviews of YT.
It's not a standard fcb and there is, unfortunately, no documentation or guides floating around for it.

There are loads of screws in the frame, but I'll open her up and take some pics.

If no extras then you should using the usb=uart1 to connect. If using ibus or sbus then modern boards have io jst connector block for ibus. I could do with seeing the fcb. Why the heck did you disable uart1.
With the fcb I got, spf3 if I had done what you have done I would plug into my uart2 but then the com port changes. USB is com9 a uart2 is com3 for me.
I never had this problem but I'm sure if you look up bricked fcb on YT there will be a bit on it.

Is there an option to upload a file where you are typing. Just right a few posts then you allowed more options. You may have to downsize the picture a bit for it to work, at least I do anyway.

Was built for a friend. His first step up from the toys.

He said he couldn't find the boot pins. I just wanted to know which fcb so I could point them out. If he has a hairpin paperclip then he should be able to jump them then try the reboot. Failing that buy a standard fcb if it will fit & install it yourself. One soldering iron coming up.
