Need VR Goggles for glass wearers

Here is a couple of VR Headsets that were suggested to me, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076FWCVM6/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1AXXC22W8ZCQ7&colid=1QQ815G4NWAAW&psc=1, another headset was https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XCQ24KG/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I28DOKGYPNPR1Y&colid=1QQ815G4NWAAW&psc=0. I tried the first link and they would not focus very well whether I had my glasses on or not. So I am going to maybe try the other set. I contacted the folks at Force 1 to see if they had any good suggestions too.

Will keep looking for VR headset and keep everyone posted. Any thoughts on headsets would be great.

Thought I would try to share a couple pictures of my Rigid Case from Home Depot that I set up to store my drone, controller, 3 batteries, two chargers, and spare controller batteries. It worked out really well, the case was 29.00 and is pretty tough. I put a couple a couple layers of that foam flooring pads you get at Harbor Freight. You can cut through the material really easy with hobby knifes.

Remember, just because you wear glasses does not mean you are necessarily relegated to only using a "box style" headsets.
The "Fat Shark" types (as Moz puts it) do have diopter lenses that can be inserted to correct vision, but they are also made for 5.8 GHz.
Since your quad is wi-fi based the "box style" (and using your phone) IS a reasonable choice, that being said, imho it's all about the optics.

IPD (interpupillary distance) does play an important factor in your ability to comfortably view the screen with ANY goggles. Check your eyeglasses
prescription for information that will help you decide if the goggles you're considering have the ability to compensate (for both IPD & focusability)
adequately unless it's explicitly stated that they can be comfortably used while wearing your prescription eyeglasses.

Fresnel lenses (often used for magnification) and/or focusing lenses in these types are typically cheap plastic which are easily scratched and
also introduce distortions, especially around the periphery. This can make reading any narratives on the displays very difficult.
MY recommendation would be these goggles made by Zeiss. The company is renowned for their quality optics and have a set of goggles
(which I've just recently found) that supposedly do not even require any adjustability. They are specifically designed to be used with phones
and can later be modified (by using a receiver and screen) to work well with 5.8 GHz systems as well (which you'll likely advance to as you progress
in this hobby) and you can wear them while using your prescription eyeglasses.

My pick for Fat Shark styled goggles are "Aomway Commanders".
For your needs though, I suggest the "VR One Plus". https://www.zeiss.com/virtual-reality/home.

Thanks for the suggestions gentleman on adding a little foam to the lid. I bought some light foam today for the lid and it worked out nicely. The batteries are strapped in with elastic and the controller sits such that when the lid closes the lid touches the portion of the controller where the phone goes and there can be no movement. The two orange containers that hold the chargers are also sealed by the lid. I added a little foam to to the middle depression area to make sure the drone doesn't have any or minimal movement and any movement is padded.

My wife measured my interpupillary distance and if we read the ruler correctly it was 55-56 mm, I might have to use a caliper. Anyway, I am going to contact these folks on there VR headset, https://www.starkvrpro.com/collections/vr-products/products/focus-vr-headset#more-anchor, what do you folks think of this headset. I don't need the headphones but they are easily removed. Best Buy carries the Zeiss so I will also be able to take a look at them, maybe even try them out, the price isn't to bad either, 49.99.

As far as what is my budget, right now I don't know what one should expect to spend on a VR Headset that will function well with my glasses. I have a pretty tight prism and a stigmatism so that might create a problem that no headset can resolve for me to be able to gain a clear vision of sight.

Thanks everyone, so enjoying this new hobby. Let me know what you think of the Starkvrpro.

With the prism in my glasses it was for double vision when I was very very young. And the Astigmatism is an imperfection in the curvature of your cornea — the clear, round dome covering the eye's iris and pupil — or in the shape of the eye's lens. So hopefully these conditions will not interfere with finding a VR Headset.

I think the range is 60 something to 69mm
Im ok with my box goggles as my immersionRC duo has fantastic range & don't have to worry about yawning my head. IMG_20170820_125139033_crop_582x832.jpg

Even had a go @ some Diy antennas.
I get decent range with the square plate helical, both the cone is pretty tight.
@ about 8-900m it's about 100' wide.
It's like flying down a tube. Then the omni kicks in around 400' the spiro net patch gets me a pretty wide 500, The other 2 aren't much kop. Be ok for back garden.
If I had a thingyma'jig I could tweak em but I ain't buying a spectrometer just for that.

 ... Just a thought, but if you have RSSI from any of your quads you could fine tune using that.
There's nothing that says any (normally) receiving antenna can't also be used for transmitting too.
As the those helis get tweaked towards optimum the Quad RX's signal strength will go up; THAT also translates into increased
performance when they are used for reception. ;)

Have had some time to get some flying in finally. I bought a set of VR Headset IMESIV To4B Virtual Reality Headset #D VR Glasses. Here is the link, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076FWCVM6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They don't work to bad and I don't need to wear my glasses. As I have flown more with them I am starting to really get use to them.

A question I have thought is the lagging of live view when I am flying. It can be frustration and scary at the same time. The only thing I can do is let go of both control sticks so I don't hit something. Also, there are times I get choppy video recording. I have a Motorola Droid Force Z, which is relatively new. And I have flown near my home in a park and also went out into the desert and the results are the same. Any guidance would be greatly appreciate by this newbie.

That lag is purely down to the WiFi signal.
5.8ghz is a stronger and faster signal, WiFi was never really designed for live world applications.
Depending on what type of camera you have, it can get from bad to very bad.
The lower the pixel resolution the faster the frame can be sent. So a 600 TV lines camera is twice as fast as a 1200tvl camera. WiFi is OK if your moving slow & not very far. I don't have a problem with lag, I know it's there but I'm not a racer.
I fly a track @ my park, just an imaginary one mind, a freestyle loop. I just bought a tramp hv & about to try this uxxi 5.8ghz rhcp smallest fpv antenna out. Seen some good reviews. & @ £5 why not. What's to break.

If you intend to move about fast or race even freestyle then you need to get 5.8ghz. It's safer faster better range.
a 700tvl cam on a 5.8ghz is 0.3-0.5 seconds faster than a a WiFi system using a 1200tvl. So If anyone wants a drone with a decent camera. Know that's its not designed for fast movement. WiFi is just a downlink. Hope this babbling is coherent to someone.

 ... Lemme know what you think of those stubbies Moz ... Been thinking about grabbing some myself too, but haven't looked into them enough yet to
pull the trigger

Will do, weather not to good here lately.
YT video showed 1000ft easy.
I will push my setup when I get a chance but around 700ft is my optimum range with hardly any interference.
