The small cat-teaser is a Holy Stone HS 190, strictly an indoor bird, the other is my new Hubsan X4, which I haven't taken out yet because of winds in the High Desert.

I have a Hubsan X4. The wind controls it better than I can! A breeze as slow as 1 mph takes it on a merry ride!

That's good to know, Ranger...I'll wait for one of those rare calm days!
Being slightly less than a pound in weight, it looks like I can't count on extreme stability in any kind of wind!

There are a lot of quads Hubsan calls an "X4". The one you have (the H501S) doesn't need a windless day to fly just fine. At a guess, 10mph or less should be no problem. In time you will find how much wind it takes to get bothersome.

That said, when you're learning you should avoid very much wind.

FWIW some gold props would be nice to put on the front, it really helps to have contrasting props for orientation.

Don't know if these are official.

Hey Jackson...I got a complete set of 4 replacement prop blades with my Hubsan H501S. What if I spray-painted all 4 blades Gold?

Then I'd have 2 Gold blades to install, and a set of 2 Gold blades and 2 Black blades in reserve.
