You've all been so helpful through this process and I just wanted to say thanks and share my first experience with you. It was super windy but I've been trying to wait out the wind for days. I couldn't wait any longer. LOL

Congrats! I'm no where near that. Having a hard time keeping the money from flying out of the wallet and buying an FPV outfit. I'm dead set on developing my LOS skills before I make the plunge. Could you expound a bit on your progression of quads you have used.

I've done a lot of that on my nano and micro drones. I've gotten really good so it was time to upgrade.

Quad: Eachine Racer 250. Goggles: Quanum V2
It's a nice cheap entry level setup. I wanted to see if I really liked it before I went ham and built my own and invested in some better goggles. The Quanum V2's are really nice though. They just aren't as portable.

Nice. I've been looking at both of those. Now I have to ask you, are you flying the quad as it came out of the box or did you hook it up to the computer and tweak the PIDs?
