Will this work well or am I miles of the mark
Thanks lowie

Yes, your propulsion system is severely underpowered. Do a search for "DJI F450 build". You'll get an idea of the components neede

As to your first question, I only give Banggood so much cred. The savings on cheap parts have balanced with the loss on products that are no good. Never had a good experience with something that's wrong (can you take a video of an ESC not working? Deep!).
BTW, go to sites and find the product instead of following posted links.

I am a bit confused on the motors is a high kv better or worse than a lower kv I had assumed higher was better

The bigger the stator the more power & torque can be delivered. It's finding the balance with a propeller. Bigger does not mean better. Low KV in 2212 or 2312 =big props for that motor. High KV tends to have a smaller prop as it's spinning faster.
Both can be under & over propped.
Over propped draws more amps = less flight time. Under propped =? Anyone

As moz said it depends on the application. If you checked out the link I posted, just scroll down to the Performance data, then do the same with these high KV versions.

You will see that on 3S with the 23ooKV you'll get 660 grams of thrust while pulling 19.2A. Looking at the efficiency that's half of what the 980KV achieve. Runtimes will be horrible.

There is more to what I've said, I'm just babbling in work. Would be better looking at wiki. There is loads to it.
To be honest I did look @it but mainly copied everybody else & done a bit of trial & error myself.
6inch bull nose prop on a dys 1806 is over propped. Dal 5x2blade on a 2306 is under propped. The motor can max out basically not feeling like it's biting. Torque acts this way aswell. Different motors have high & low end torque. Ahh breaks over.

The flysky I6 is OK believe me. I've only upgraded because the turnigy evolution leaves more room in the bag.
There is better Tx out there but it is by no means outdated. It has all you need. I've had mine for 3years now. I didn't want to spend mega bucks on one. & was surprised how good it was.
I padded a biscuit out to stop the stick getting knocked. Yes I could have got a case, but if it works.
I just got 5k given to me & was toying with getting a taranis special edition & a TBS crossfire micro. I may still yet
But the turnigy evo won.
Same components more or less as the flysky, & same manufacturer,
so if it has the same range, I'm happy.
.

My turnigy evo just arrived,
Very nice, very comfortable.
All I need now is the frame & I got 5 days off come Friday. Wahoo.
