Mounting A Camera... Do I need To Balance?

I tried to mount a GoPro to my Tarantula X6 the other day by just doing a really quick and dirty rubber band job to hold it to the body. However, when I went to take off, it basically dove to the back right and after about 3 attempts and taking off, I could never get it to take off straight up and down. I assumed there was some sort of self leveling sensor in this thing but I guess I am wrong. So, do I need to someone balance my copter after rigging up a camera? If so, can you explain how? Or is it supposed to self level eventually?

Best to keep it as light as possible, but is should be able to lift your GoPro. Have you tried to recalibrate it?

This is actually the procedure to recalibrate (not trim as it says).

Yeah, it has plenty of power to lift it.... but when I launched it, the drone immediatly wanted to take a steep angle to the back right. I tried launching it about 3 times hoping it would self level, but never did. I will try the re-calibration trick you mentioned. Thanks for the tips!!!
