Motors?

Hello to everyone. I am new here and just got a 230SI for my birthday. I flew it as soon as I got it with a couple of crashes with no problems to it. I took it out tonight and crashed it very lightly compared to my first flying it. I had a couple of small pieces of grass get around one of the props and now two of the motors are not working. I took the grass off and checked everything and took the covers off the two to see if anything came undone. Everything looks fine. Anything else I should be looking for? Thanks for any info.

Well they have some sort of safety feature that stops the motors if the props can't move. Have you tried to recalibrate the quad?

Most owners reviews aren't very kind, motors are a major gripe. And you can't just buy them, they come with the LED bar at $17 a pop.

MicroMotor has some, ~$30 a set of 4, but soldering is required. I imagine his motors are of a higher quality.

Although to be fair it's not made to be sport flyer.

I just swapped motors from one side to the other. It is the motor that is bad. I don't even have 1/2 hour on the thing. I will be calling them later this morning. That is ridiculous. Maybe I just got a lemon. I hope they stand behind their product.

Hi Mate as Jackson said they are not to good on review , they use coreless motors , they are cheap to buy , but easy to mess up , I do tell most to just to use this type of quad as a tool, to see if you like the hobby and to get you started, then jump to a hobby grade these are harder to set up( but we are here to help) but once its done are a better quad will fly well and keep going , easy to get parts for and fix

Well if you have to buy any motors/parts this looks like the place. The actual manufacturer.

When brand new most reviewers tend to rave about them, they do have many advanced features, but with a little bit of use it's shortcomings show up.

This rather annoying couple just couldn't stop gushing about it.

"Go buy one and do yourself a favor" yea, OK. :)
