motors

Uses the same motors as the Syma X8 and JJRC H25, which are available on just about any website on the interwebs

8.1mm brushed motor.
If I was you I wouldn't buy the syma brand. Maybe some crazypony or somthing better made. May aswell get some chocolate pinions while your at it. As they last alot less than the motors.
In my experience anyway.

Sorry my bad, are these them.

Plenty about. But these will last better than the little brushed toy motors.
Still get some pinions though unless the original are brass or some type of alloy.

The pinions are brass, so now what and thanks

Next thing would be to get it apart & desolder the motors off the board.
Are you saying your motors are broke & want a replacement or upgrade to a different motor.

Yes that's them.

Sorry I've been out of town, I'm a trucker so I half to go out sometimes weeks at a time. Anyway Thanks for all your help! I ran my quad into a wall and one motor froze up, but I wouldn't mind upgrading all of them.

Brass pinions = good. But I think without some modding for motor mounts, you will be stuck with the same motor. Or equivalent brushed motor.
To use brushless you would have to change flight controller to run a 3 phase motor.
