Ok so I have a Mamba F405 mk2 20x20 with a max burst of 30Amps with 4S batteries and I have 6 inch props. I also want to get the Emax ECO 2207 or the 2306 motors. Now I'm not understanding the KV and what I should go with. I've had people tell me go with 2400KV then some say 1700KV and nobody has given me a why they say that. I just dont want to waste the money getting the wrong thing and also dont wanna destroy my FC or ESC. So can anyone give me some advice as to what to go with and why? Thank you in advanced.

I have the 2306 2400 on one of my 5" 4S rigs. Hypetrain Blasters 1800Kv on a 6". The 2207 1900 might be a good option.
The higher Kv will scream on a 6" but will draw a lot on the mini ESC.
The lower Kv is going to keep you in the air, but won't have the same response and top end. You can pitch up the props for a little more bite. With these you also have the option to go with a higher cell battery if you change out for a stronger ESC.
These motors are great. Had to take mine apart a couple times after crashes. still my daily driver.

Basically it depends on the battery you plan on using. If you're using 4s batteries you want the 2400kv motors. 6s you want the 1900kv motors. There are exceptions, of course as Badfish pointed out, you can get either combination to work with tweaks.
