Mi Drone

Hi I'm fairly new to Drones in fact I've just purchased my first one (Xiaomi Mi 4K drone), I'm just in the process of setting up the drone and learning about its features, only one thing seems to be evading me and that's how to charge the RC hand controller?, I have a USB to micro USB cable that came with the drone which plugs into a socket on the drone controller which leaves the other end as a standard USB plug, do I just plug this into a normal phone charger (IPhone charger for example)?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Tony.

Thanks Renov8r, much appreciated, thought it would be a simple answer !!

Yes, you can plug it into your computer if you leave your computer on even when you're not using it. I bought a USB charging port from Amazon.com and it's designed to provide the same voltage and wattage that your computer USB port does, only that you can plug it into a wall socket. Did you know that by leaving your computer on and your modem up invites visits from unscrupulous individuals that can hack your computer? Don't think that can't happen, they can access your hard drive without you knowing that they are doing it. It has happened to several friends of mine.

You can just plug it into a USB port on your computer.
Hi RENOV8R, I've noticed that the gimble camera that affixes to the drone also has a micro USB port? Do you have to charge the camera unit as well or does it draw power from the main drone battery. Thanks for your help.

Thanks LoneRCRanger, I will purchase a USB wall charger as it sounds like the best option, cheers Tony

Not being entirely sure about this, the camera port might also be used for image downloading even if the camera performs mostly for FPV.

Not trying to jump on thread, but this sounds intimidating, also most ppl fail to secure their network properly, so your friends may have just been asking for it, not saying they did.. but if the white house was left wipe open with no security am sure people would walk right in.
