Just got a Phantom. Footage is great.

After owning a couple of cheap Syma's I finally broke down and bought a DJI Phantom 3. Wow, the thing practically fly's itself and the footage is great. It is rather scary flying it out of view and hoping I will be able to navigate it back home. Anyway, I just created a channel. Make sure you set RTH height high enough to clear all obstacles on the way back home in-case you lose signal

I said "practically"... When it is a mile away out of site and I am flying it through the app, I am thankful it has GPS. The fun is not only flying the thing, but the pursuit of great footage. Hey, I'm new at this. If it were not for the GPS I would have said bye bye to my $700 bucks the moment I lost site.
