JJRC X1- a 120$ Brushless Motor Quadcopter

And with a pretty powerful quad like that you have to careful of the damage and injury it can cause. It also seems that the props are always spinning even with the throttle cut off. When you land you have to quickly do a disarming sequence.

Do not buy the JJRC X1 unless you know how to fly a quadcopter. Learn on a SYMA X5C first. This is not for a beginner. I have the Shuttle version of the X1 and it is a real handful to fly. Their is a severe yaw problem at the low rate. Some owners are saying that they inexplicably loose control of the quad-copter for no reason. I have found the landing skids to be a real problem. The X1 will tip over on landing and the propellers will hit the ground. If you don't turn off the motors fast enough you will burn out a motor. The ESC unit on my X1 is very hot...I don't know if that is normal or a sign that the product is defective. I'm waiting on a replacement motor to find out for sure.
