Is there an easy way to add OSD to a quad?

I've been wanting to add an OSD to my quad for a while but everytime I start looking for one it just all seems so complicated. Couldn't someone please point me in the right direction of an OSD system which doesn't take a rocket scientist or computer programmer to install and configure. Will be used on 220 size quad with Flysky fs-i6 tx and fs-ia6b rx running ppm with a runcam swift mini. The mini has a "built in osd" but it's only for changing the cam settings. Thanks

Preferably batt. voltage, timer, and I know this is going to sound goofy but I don't know the technical term for it, but the line across the screen which helps you to keep level? I'm still learning when it comes to this hobby.

It's called an "artificial horizon". The first thing you need to do is make sure your Flight Controller has a "data out" line as that is where your info for OSD comes from...........you'll have to run your came vid into some form of OSD module as well as data from your FC.

Ok thanks, I appreciate the help. I'll have to take a look to be positive but I'm pretty sure the FC does have an osd port

Artificial horizon, that's it. I had heard it before but couldn't remember. Forgive my ignorance of proper terminology.

You could also change your flight controller. Beerotor F3 has built-in OSD that doesn't require any programming. It has lots of options including artificial horizon. And at 25 bucks, it won't break the bank.
