Idiots Fly Drone Over Bridge

What can be done? I'm stunned how many people in the comments believe this is ok... People like this need to be held accountable before someone gets seriously hurt. That drone could have easily have fallen into those cars... then what?
 
They didn't actually fly directly above the cars. But yes there is a chance of a failsafe which could cause that. Just as much as the pilot getting knocked over..
They only encroached the 50m on a horizontal level outside of the bridge. The rest is all legal. Cars are more a danger than drones.
 
I see what you are saying, they never are directly over the cars in the (edited) video. However I feel this misses the point! The intent is clearly to "dive" the bridge by getting as close to it as possible, this could have so easily have gone horribly wrong. What happens when they make a mistake or a prop flies off?

The fact of the matter is you don't get to take risks with other people's safety. If the chance they hit a car is really only 1/100, then eventually someone somewhere is going to hit a car "diving" a bridge. It is hardly relevant that cars are more dangerous than drones... you still can't fly drones over people!
 
You'll luv this one, especially towards the end. You'll see in one shot where he has both hands off his handlebars. He uses a modded WII nunchuck controller to fly his quad.

 
:cool:life is a risk. hey we are only going by the edited video right. if that bridge is 400ft high, he can go another 400ft above that. i think it is totally legit. 50m+ 90% of the time.
