I need help! Sky Warrior K70C

Hello,

I'm brand new here. I've recently gotten into flying quadcopters, and I flew the life out of a little syma x5c-1 (literally) . Today, My Kai Deng Sky warrior k70c arrived.

I'm still having issues adjusting the trim, but I can handle that. Mainly what i need help with is that as I was flying it, the piece that goes on top of the propellor motor shaft, kind of a lock thing, popped off and flew away. Since this is a relatively new quadcopter on the market, I can't find any replacement parts.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Neat Quad!I watched a review by Quadcopter 101 and he seems to think the motors and motor housings are the same as the Syma X8C if thats the case parts are readily available, probably won't be able to find yellow, if you just lost the plastic cone it does cover up the prop retention mechanism and I am not sure that flying without it would put you at risk of losing the pin that holds the prop on, to me it seems more for looks than anything else.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Right now I have a few small washers and a clip from the body paneling holding it on, and that's working fine. Return to home sends it in my direction, but far to the left. Headless mode is 90 degrees off. I have a couple of things to tweak...

When turning the quad on is it facing away from you? Though if you plan to get into bigger quads I suggest you avoid headless mode as it teaches bad habits.

Glad someone here has one of these and hope you will post some reviews and other thoughts as you progress with it. Looks like a cool quad and may even considering getting one after hearing more about it. Good luck!

Thanks, I love to make reviews, and this thing is pretty dang awesome. Way better than the x8c for sure. Next up for me may be an eachine 250, but that'll be a while.

Lifts a GoPro hero 3 with zero issues.

Well I woke up this morning and tried to fly it, but didnt get anywhere. I charged the battery overnight. This quadcopter was already acting weird, and the power button was sticking in place.

I plugged in the battery and nothing. No lights, no beeping, even with pressing the power button a bunch of times, and unplugging the button module, this thing won't come on.

Could I have burnt out the battery with an 8 hour charge? It's 2000mah.

I don't think that is possible with most LiPo chargers. Check the voltage, it may not have charged at all or went bad due to something like over-discharge

Well, even if I didn't charge the battery fully, I still think it should have at least made the quadcopter beep or something. That or it's damaged. I ordered this quad from gear best, and their site is somehow rigged so that it won't let you contact them through their support tickets. (It makes you log in, then logs you out when you open a ticket). So, I can't get a refund...

That don't make sense. For one you have to have a video showing the problem. Then you have to keep at them. I just got a refund, in credit, from them last month.

Well, no matter what I tried, their site just won't let me open a dispute. Maybe because my account was linked with google? Who knows.

I just opened a dispute via PayPal. If that works, I'll just get another one, probably from gearbest again, and see what happens.

Well, I'll make a review, eventually. The quad flew really well before it broke.
