How to use a hex file to update esc?

I got on one of my quads 4 emax lighting 20a ESCs, but blheli recognizes them as lighting "Nano"

I have to download the hex file, what the f is so hard?? I found the hex codes, I click on it, bunch of hex lines, the Hell now?

I select Manually, I find the "file" which really isn't a file then I get an error

Anyone EVER use a hex file?

Thanks saw this but it's the only way, I was able to update to the latest emax lightning 20a esc, just had to bypass and install the "Warning" firmware, I'm all good? I flew it for one month with the nano software

Maybe not a month but definitely a few 4S tattu packs, ripped it and everything, the only thing I noticed bad was when you cut the throttle instead of smoothly descending it was wobbly, but motors were cool and everything.
