Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on here knew how to tell if an emax motor was the real deal, I recently purchased a few of the mt2204 2300kv motors overseas at a very good price, I have done as much research as I could to see if they were real and so far they seem to be ok..Windings look great, they run well and they have the original brass bearing on the bottom..However, they do not come in the original box, does anyone else know what to look for... thank you all for any help...

You said you liked them and they run great, so does it really matter?
Its just that Ive read stories about these Chinese cloned motors about the magnets coming loose or poorly made windings inside shorting
out and I don't want a major crash because of that.. The people I bought them from assured me they were real and after reading the stories
I had second thoughts...

Send me a picture of the packaging or post an image on here. I am a dealer for Emax and can tell you if they are real or fake.
Hope these are clear enough...there is a brass washer on the bottom...

they came with the bolts only...
Which is all Im saying. Authentic motors come in its own box, with prop nut, mount bolts and allen wrench.
But if you like them and they perform well, you got a good price for them, then just enjoy them. I doubt they are authentic Emax motors is all. But who cares if they work well for you.

FWIW I use $6 motors that have treated me good. :)

I have a 210 x frame generic kit with 4mm arms, have no idea what motors are on it and its my favorite quad. Fast, agile and fun. Also tough as hell. I've nose dived that thing into the ground and been stopped dead by tree trunks. It's awesome and was cheap.
