Holy Stone HS190 flys up out of control

Hi all,

As soon as I press the fly up button, the quadcopter drone starts going up and won't come back down! The controller buttons don't seem to work anymore :(

Every time, it begins to fly up, hits my room's ceiling and comes down crashing.

This was fine for the past 2 months, but is acting up this past week or so.
 
What height is the take off/landing set at?

You say your ceiling, well it is possible that the return home height is set to a height higher then your ceiling, try and turn it on and fly it outside.

I am pretty sure that would be the issue, you can change the setting by connecting your smartphone/I-Phone to the drones wifi, there should be an app to download also.
 
Hi Stu, thanks for your feedback. But, are you talking about the Holy Stone HS190 the $30 one in Target, etc?

I don't see an option to set the "return home height" and I don't see a phone app either in the AppStore?!
 
Jackson, yes, I have tried that already, doesn't seem to help :(
And I couldn't post a link because I am fairly new.

Stu, Jackson, any other ideas?

A speculation from a newbie...…
Any chance this problem started after you changed/replaced a set of propellers ?
There is specific way to install/replace propellers.
