Help with purchase of a transmitter

I am told the FS-T6 was not a good choice.
I was looking at the FS-i6 or i10and the Radiolink AT9. Does anyone have a preference?
I would like to have telemetry for future use and I would like to get as many channels as I may need for future expansion. I would also like to add some extra sensors at some point. I understand the value of spread spectrum, do I need it?

This will be my first Transmitter and I would like for it to last a while.

The big deal for me right now is the need to be able to plug it into my USB port for flight simulator. (Yes Virginia, I need the practice).

Thanks for your input. I is greatly needed and appreciated.

This is a supurb radio Taranis X9D Plus is what I have with an X8R receiver, 16 channels, open source firmware, telemetery and highly customizable, love mine, best radio I have ever owned makes Spectrum look like toys.

fpv would be separate.

I have read good things about Radiolink, but I don't think it will be as flexible as the Taranis. The model setups are transferable too on the Taranis. I have used others, and I have also shared mine. It's worth more than the price that it goes for is the reason why it is so popular.

You need to do some googling and research, you are asking like what is the difference between a Toyota Prius and a Chevy Spark, The Taranis X9D Plus was my choice after I did my own research and comparisons. Don't rely on others choices your needs may be completely different.

Even though cheaper don't sell the Radiolink short. Here's a quick vid worth watching, showing just a few of the tweaks that can be done.

Research is exactly what I am doing with this post.Looking at ads won't tell me anything about hands on use. It was only a question, if you don't want to answer just don't post. I am here looking for assistance because I don't necessarily know what I am looking for.
