Help with idea

Yes. But I ordered the wrong esc/bec 30 amp SimoneK instead of 12 Amp.Hope I don't fry the motors.
30 amp is heavier, but you can't fry a motor using too big of ESCs, you can however fry ESCs using too big of a motor. Unless a device is current hungry it will only draw what it needs in amperage. Switch if you have the funds to spare, or wait to see how it flys.

Yea that is too big for that tiny quad, they are more than twice as long, 11mm wider and a whopping 20 grams heavier (each) than the 12s. An extra unneeded 80 grams of dead weight.

You shoulda just bought the kit.

Or better yet this, rather complete package.

Ok. Ordered the right 12amp esc/bec SimonK 8gram. I'll use the other one's for my next build. I hope this first build goes well. This hobby is totally different from RC hero's and a lot more fun.

A lot cheaper to crash than Helis too.

Haha, everybody needs to have a toy, a racer, and a camera quad to fly!

Today I ordered my FPV set up camera transmitter 200mw, receiver, 7 inch monitor, all the battery cable connections holder for TX unit, and XT60 connector to 12v dc monitor and receiver cable. Now I can't wait for all this to put together. In the mean time I got a MJX X400 to play with. Thanks guys once again for all your help.

Haha, you'll be joing the ranks of us where limbs, whole trees, poles, walls, and wire jump or teleport to the place in front of us. Haha, I hope you get it together just fine, if not there are plenty who will help.

Here is the frame work without the electronics. The landing skids do make a difference when it comes to battery placement. 5g extra weight but made out of carbon fiber.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've been away for personal reasons. All is well now. Still got a lot of work to do with this project. But I'm taking my time. Will post more later.

I didn't show it here but the v antenna is screwed to the frame and there is a hole in the bottom that I drilled for the wire to go through. I wanted it clean as possible.

Question. When connecting the fpv camera transmitter to the power distribution board do you use the 12v or the 5v out put for the transmitter. The camera is powered through the transmitter.
