HELP NEEDED CANT FLY :(

Is it worth taking the props off before he dives into BetaFlight?

Good catch ! ... YES !!! .... Remove your props before monkeying around with any settings ... ALWAYS ... ;)
I can just see him finally getting connected then immediately totalling the quad while adjusting the settings

 ... Popping the 5 incher's FC onto the 6 incher would seem to be the obvious choice .... unless ...
there might be an underlying reason the FC died, in which case you could feasibly fry the other one too

I was watching a video a couple of nights ago and tried following it (not the above video) it told me to unplug and re plug on the other side of the board like he does at 5.57 in that video, then to change where the other end plugged into my FS-iAs6B to going across CH5 CH6 and B/VCC at the top, I moved it back to how it was recently but when I was putting it back I put the receiver end the wrong way around (black cable on the inside) a few times, I've flashed successfully since but led on my receiver isn't coming on with power input :( I think I've broken either the cable head or receiver... what should I do?

Should I buy an upgrade like in the video above?

And where can I buy another cable?

Or any other ideas?

what is black red and white cable called that comes out the receiver called? want to buy another one as I think mine is broke

Popping the 5 incher's FC onto the 6 incher?

Given there's two quads, one is a 5" with a bad motor and a bad ESC; the other is 6" with only a bad FC,
the easiest and most expedient fix would be to remove the FC from the 5" quad and install it into the 6" quad. ;)

I agree with RENOV8R, it's likely you've wasted the RX.
You have to be careful to not supply it too much voltage or reversed polarity. :(
