Hello Everyone - a Newbie looking for some suggestions

Hello fellow members,
Im a mid aged bloke who has always been interested in drones/quadcopters and now since i have saved up some money to persue my dream of owning a proper quad/drone, would like your thoughts please. Firstly sorry if this is the wrong place to post a question but I was looking at a DJI phantom 3 Advanced and was wondering is someone kind enough would tell me which would be a better buy.
a DJI P3 advanced or a Xiaomi Mi 4k drone. your kind thoughts and reasons would be highly appreciated please.

Im looking forward to use it for my hobby of taking pictures and making short aerial films.

First off, welcome to the forums and this place is fine for questions.

I have no experience with either of those - so far my readings and video watching has been around the DJI Mavic Pro and Mavic Air models.

As Moz said, plenty of folks around here will likely weigh in on those choices and/or others.

I'm not familiar with either neither ... lol ... but, as mentioned, someone will surely be along shortly who is. ;)
 
Well if you like big, get the Xiaomi Mi.

Here's a good run down and comparison. Sounds good.


They are kinda hard to find lately, you do want the $K (latest) version.
