Heartsell USA

Purchased a $100 quad with FPV but no GPS from this company. It did not bind and I contacted the company and got nothing but stalling tactics. I have finally packed it up and after 10 emails decided just to mail it back to them and request a full refund. They had the cheek to offer me a 25% refund as the unit looked in good shape and I could keep it!!! I told them I don't need a shelf ornament and would be returning it, they have not yet offered a full refund. Won't buy here again.

Typical unfortunately

Good Luck!

Company is actually Hearttell US, obviously a Chinese based company with a USA support centre. Here is their response to my detailed account (photos and Video as requested by company)
"Ticket: at Freshdesk-helpdesk-tickets-10220
I am sorry for it.
How about a partial refund of 20% as compensation, you keep the drone?
I see the drone is in good condition, you can use it.
Thank you
Frank

I cannot put the link in as the forum does not allow it but easy enough to google the company

That sucks!

Not that it helps now. I always buy with PayPal when possible or at AMAZON. Even if AMAZON is more expensive it is worth it to me in the long run. They have never not stood behind any product.

Again, good luck.

Excellent through--I had forgotten about PayPal so a complaint has now been lodged. I too always try Amazon or PayPal and have generally had good response that way. Thx ArmyVet for jogging my memory.

Hearttell US came back with $20 more then I took it to PayPal and ended up getting around $65 back. Would certainly never deal with this crummy company again. Now the challenge might be to actually get their P.O.S. working since they told me to keep it.

You are unfortunate man I hope that you will really get the full refund of the item that you purchased
Good luck!

That is the way of those type of companies as I have painfully learned. I had a refund that began with just $10 on a $55 quad and I keep the quad when I demanded a refund for a bad FC on a quad. I told them that the FC separately was $29.99 and that was the least I would accept. Fortunately, they gave that amount back and I will never deal with a China-based company again in this hobby.

I even went so far as to purchase a quad that I made sure I can buy the replacement parts from Amazon.

But you did receive the refund anyways lesson learned.

Sadly it's been more than an occasional issue for me woth BangGood. Had two FC go out, had to downgrade the motors so not to blow a third still waiting for the specialized motors 35 days and counting (might be here today actually). Poor quality antenna on vtx which lead to the video dropping and hitting the garage, leading to a broken frame. I have flown that quad (Eachine QX-105) a grand total of 5 mins since I bought it months ago.

Three SPC Makers from BuddyRC have been flying with no issues, run in standard motors and had them within days and replacement motors are quick to replace.

It is important to read the specifications first before you purchase a thing

I agree with you there. At the time I was not aware of the difference between the pluh sizes. I had only been into the hobby a month or so and hadn't learned the difference at that time.

I'm a wee bit more enlightened now having learned from the mistakes.

Had the exact same experience with GearBest on a Hubsan H501ss. One week and FPV stopped working. Offered me $25 to purchase a new drone! Now I find Hubsan won't cover it under warranty either. Anyone know a manufacturer and vendor that will stand behind their product?

Must read everything carefully or else you might get scammed..
