In all those year flying glo motor powered airplanes, I never got hurt with the prop. I have lots of scars and marks from other things.
 
Saw my finger bone once. Was trying to saw a lath to make an airplane about age 12, and the saw hopped out of the kerf and cut my finger. Mom pushed the skin back together and wrapped it with a bandaid (sticky plaster). Was surprised to see dark gray inside my finger.
 
I was surprised to find out that even 3" props will turn your fingers into hamburger meat. Sorry, I have no pics
 
Cut my leg & hands, but my goggles stopped the last one. Yes I actually hit my own head & snapped the antenna off my gigs. Lucky no blood.
 
My first quad was a tiny Estes ProtoX years ago. Sounded like a mosquito in flight. I had it hovering a bit off the floor and the dog went to investigate. He carefully sniffed closer and closer, "Careful, Shadow. It bites the nose." YIPE! Didn't draw blood or anything.

Geeees! I can't imagine seeing my finger's bone.
 
So might as well have been machetes ;) joking aside that is pretty awful. I've been lucky to not have been hit by any blades going at speed yet. I am pretty cautious about it though just running the numbers it sounds dangerous to me (15V * 2600kv motor = 39,000 RPMs) which is basically a little faster than my dremel (probably way faster since it's a knock off) and I don't mess with putting my fingers on that thing either.

I had to punch my quad out of the sky once when I let my dad try and take the controls and he had no idea what he was doing (bad idea on my part but he wanted to try). Basically 5 seconds after I hand over the controls he has it flying straight at us so I just punched it and got lucky hit the frame instead of the blades.
