Giving the hobby another try, where to resume?

I have a eachine falcon 250 and the last crash that made me rage quit I lost a motor and a ESC.

Problem is that it seems that quad and parts for it are discontinued and I can't seem to find parts for it anywhere!

Should I try to build a new zmr 250 from scratch or what would you recommend?

Also I got a friend who wants to get into the hobby and he asked me which RTF quad to buy. I was going to recommend the falcon, but since it's discontinued, what is the new go to choice?

Hi mate if it's just motor and esc you need don't waste money on frame etc use that money to get really good motors and escs to fit the frame you have

do all 4 esc's and all 4 motors need to be the same brand? can i use a different brand esc and motor for 1 arm and then have the stock esc and motors on the other 3 arms?

thanks

Hi I would change all ESCs due to the new one having blheli code , also the motors are 1mm taller the fcb should still fly it ok but some times it's better to have all new motors than just one ,if you buy all new ESCs and motors you can then buy a tricopter frame and use the old motors and ESCs it will be fast and so much fun to fly they fly very different to quads flip and roll so easy
