Fuselage repair.

I've noticed a couple of stress cracks starting to form on my rebranded JJRC H25G (Sold at truck stops as the Ai Freedom II), resulting from a few hard landings (I now know to not land on asphalt paved parking lots, or concrete sidewalks). I've been considering a two-part epoxy followed by sanding the repair smooth before spray painting over the repaired area. Will this hold up? This damage was not the result from an airbourne collision with anything, just the jolt of hitting the hard surfaces on landing.

I have no idea what they look like, but I'd try a little CA (superglue) concentrating on the ends and call it a day.

CA, superglue, is the right product. You'll want the thin variety so that it will wick in along the crack. Start where the crack is widest. This allows the thin CA to sink in deep and then wick along to the thinner parts of the crack.

Here's a little trick I've been using for years. Before applying super glue, drill a very small hole at each end of the crack. It'll prevent it from spreading any further.

So far, the super glue (I used Krazy Glue in the squeeze tube) has held up. Since the "toy grade" quads seem to be made of less substantial plastic than the "hobby grade" ones like the Yuneec Typhoon models, I'm going to confine my landings to grass-covered fields such as school athletic fields, rather than hard paved surfaces.
