FPV & video recording all-in-one device?

I see plenty of rigs with an FPV camera AND a gopro or some other HD recording device, but is there an all-in-one solution? It always seems to me that the addition of the rather large gopro (in comparison to a 180 or 250 frame) is both aesthetically unappealing and a definite detraction from any sort of aerodynamics a qc might have. not to mention the added weight... ;) One camera to both transmit and record HD video seems to be a no brainer if it exists.

I only have the Gopro option if I intend photography and know the limits it will place on flight time. When I mount the Gopro I also can mount two batteries.

... If the Run Cam streams live through the mini-usb then why does no one use it for FPV rather than having two separate cameras ? ... I'm guessing latency must be an issue ...

Many do. As far as latency the new RunCam2 has very low latency.
Extremely Low Latency: 40ms (720p120fps); 60ms(1080p 60fps)

But for true FPV proximity racers that is still a tad too high and the weight is too much. They really don't care about good looking video.
