Fpv/recording gimbal

Ok so heres what Id like to try to do and Id appreciate feedback. I have a Tarot 650. Now without getting into all details of my quad Im just going to say what I have in mind.... Id like to add a camera gimbal,(probably 2d), but I was thinking if also adding a fpv camera to the gimbal along with a recording camera l so I can see exactly what my camera is recording. Otherwise, its just a good guess that the camera is looking at a specific point. Has anyone done this? I think I remember reading that a Runcam can do both but Im not sure. Im not looking into head tracking, fpv is hard enough. Any thoughts would be great.

Yes, I'm interested in seeing peoples setups too. What I do for now is just have my Git 2 Pro (similar to GoPro) on a Tarot 3-axis gimbal, connected to VTX. On the ground I have a monitor, receiver and DVR. So basically, the camera gives me FPV and recording

I came across this on youtube....... might be right up my alley.
. I have a mobius but I didnt know it could this. Theres a 3d mobius gimbal on amazon. All I have to do is figure out how to bring this all together. Apparently the latency is very low but milliseconds are everything in fpv. Just ask the trees in my yard. I think mounting a fpv right under the mobius is the way to go.

If you're thinking about this type of camera, check out the Foxeer Legend. Nice thing is you can set it up on a 3-position switch on your transmitter. You can turn it on and off, control video and take snapshots. So you don't have to waste footage on takeoff and landing, you just start recording when you get to the location you want.
And it comes in a bunch of different colors

For the truly illiterate, like me, the use of acronyms regarding quadcopters, might as well be in the Greek language, which, of course, I don't understand either. A dictionary of quadcopter acronyms would be great. Unfortunately, it doesn't exist. So, writing out exactly what the acronym stands for would be most helpful for us novice pilots.

Was it something I said?

Sorry, I guess I am not really a drone aficionado like everyone else seems to be. I don't live life around drones so, other than just flying them. The workings of them aren't as interesting as trying to make it go in a straight line and turn to avoid trees, bushes, the side of my house and/or neighbor's car. I am not ready for FPV and a VTX, whatever that is.

VTX = video transmitter. It sends the signal from your first person view camera to whatever device your using to see the image, such as a tablet, phone, goggles etc. I once found a list of quadcopter abbreviations online. Try googling one I know theyre out there.

Thank you! There are allot of them and it would be prudent to save them, which I just did. I also seen that these are available in the 'Newbie Section'. One problem is that most newbies go to the General Discussions and overlook the newbie section altogether. When I first started, that's what I did. Maybe not every person new to this tech, will do that, but I am sure allot have. Thanks again guys...

Hi guys I have had lots of success with an action camera with WiFi to my phone .you can't fpv as most have latency so your crash into things as you hit them before you can avoided them but your see what the camera sees
