Force1 F100

Yes. Force1 re-brands a variety of quads including MJX's. Their regular F100 has a slightly re-designed top shell, while the F100 "Ghost" has the stock Bugs 3 top shell in three different colors plus some kind of GoPro knock-off. Functionally both are Bugs 3's. On the plus side, Force1 has a good reputation for customer service, so if you can get it at a more or less comparable price (the F100's come with a spare battery, so factor that into the price) it's worth considering.

Thanks, I think I am going to pick one of these up. Seems like a good deal for the price.

Forgot to add that I had a coupon code for 70% off so I was able to get the one with the camera and extra body shells for under $60.00.

No, the MJX protocol is different from the DSM/DSM2/DSMx protocols. AFAIK, with MJX Bugs quads you are stuck with the original transmitter. The Jumper T8SG supports SOME MJX quads, but I'm told not the Bugs series, which is the only thing keeping that radio out of my shopping cart.

Ahh bummers, thanks Rick

Howdy All. My son got me an F100 Ghost for Christmas. Haven't had much time to try it out yet though due to weather (was -2 a couple of days ago). In the meantime while I wait for spring, since I do woodworking, I've been designing a box to store/carry it in. Thought maybe someone else out there with an F100 might need/want one too. If there is any interest, I will post a listing for it in my Etsy shop and start taking orders. Below are links to a couple of renderings of the 3D Sketchup model I'm using to do the designing. After I build mine and use it, I will probably make some modifications to the design, but it will be close to this. I designed the drone and all the bits and pieces in Sketchup as well to scale so I could get an idea where everything would fit. Being new to the forum, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this information or not. Any advice regarding where the post would be more appropriate will be appreciated.

If you are interested, or know someone who is, please feel free to contact me here or through my Etsy shop. Search for BumpkinArt.

Thanx.

Update: With the help of my son, I figured out how to properly use Imgur. :)
