It is getting 5v from the PDB. You will see in my image above that there is 4.92 going to it.
I don't understand what you mean here. "Your esc's ere opto. So provide no power to the fcb."
if you look close at pins 8 I have power attached to a 4cm wire to the pdb. Some esc's have a bec that provides 5v,
Yours don't. Because I have them.
All they do is send a signal through the white wire, the black is ground as normal.
I cannot see any power wires on the rail unless it's on 1-4. Are you sure it getting 5v from the pdb & not the USB.
On the first picture the power was not on rail 8 but now it is,ok err going on experience you have fried it or can you open cleanflight with it.
If not you shorted it somewhere.
Had the same problem with naze32.
Led's will only light up with USB.
Means R. I. P..
did you test the board @ opening.
Yes. That's why I said about it in the first picture. If you can open cleanflight through USB then the board seems OK.
Can or did you calibrate the esc's
And now I've just noticed you have brass
Stand offs.. That's a bad idea. Not only for weight but they are very conductive.
That may be a or the problem.
You must have shorted it.
Invest in a multi meter & always check b4 you apply any power..
Do a continuity test if it keeps beeping you need to find the short.
If no beep you are good to go.
