HI guys new at this quite a bit so thought I would join this community seeing as though many other people have got so much help and seems like a great community.

I keep having this issues with my kk2.0 board it keeps flashing red and a beep sound from the buzzer can be heard every time I plug it into one of the esc. I'm too worried to leave it in for long as it might break.
thought I've had everything setup right but not sure any help would be amazing thank you

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Are you randomly plugging in esc's with the battery hooked up? Try this. I am assuming you already set the KK2 to tricopter, if not, do that first. With the battery disconnected disconnect the power leads (red wire) on the bec from esc #2 and #3. Leave the bec from esc #1 power lead attached. Plug all 3 leads into the correct ports. Plug the servo leads into your Rx. Leave the props off. Turn your Tx on then plug the battery in. The alarm should beep as the motors arm and then stop. From there you should be able to set your Tx parameters and motor rotation. I know zip about tricopters. This is just basic setup for anything. If you still have a problem give more info on how you did the KK2 setup and the radio gear you are using. There are some folks on here that know a lot about tricopters and I'm sure they can get you running.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. thought that to get power to the kk2 you needed to plug in a esc to program going to have a look at your advice will get back with you to let you know how it goes thanks

What is this? Is the red arm the front?

You running 6 motors?

that seems to have worked haven't really set the motor rotation but have the one motor that was plugged in spinning when i toggle one of the sticks on the transmitter. but heard you can do that in kk2 board. seems all good on that just need to correctly set up the kk2 board I think now I've got a fly sky fs t6 transmitter and every time i try to set it up doesn't seem to work I've had it set up like in the picture above with cables connected to receiver and one esc connected on the right think I have the correct wires set up.

also it's going to be a quad copter eventually I have a 4th arm waiting for a 4th motor nut for now was thinking of setting up as tri till the forth motor arrives.

just temp set up as a tri with the two at the front one at the back running 3 motor. also thanks for the link for the kk2 board going to look into that

yeah might just put it back to a quad then just will have to wait a while for the next motor to arrive if that will be easier, do you think ?

ah I see Thanks Jackson . Think I might be going with the original quad design I had in place . the new motor should be arriving in the next couple of days still had trouble programming the the kk2 when last working with four will let you guys know when I can Thanks for the comments :)-

I don't see a servo, is it there or planned?

All mutirotors with a non-even number of motors need a tilt servo to control yaw, it is however possible to use a tail rotor like a heli too.

ah thank you I didn't know about the tilt servos. Think I might go with the original design I planned then rather than have to work with a completely new design

HI the last motor I need has arrived want to be really carefull with this so that nothing gets overloaded. whats a basic kk2 setup because everytime I've set it up before the kk2 makes a horrible beep and the screen doesn't pop up . I've had it set up like in the picture above and had no luck with getting the screen to pop up am I missing something .

I've every basic setup but can't get the kk2 screen to come up at all this is my second kk2 now and worried that going to break something evertime I plug it it it should work right just plugging an esc into out 1 and that should just get the screen up and power across it did the first time I did it but no change. I've tried changing the esc's but nothing. annoying at this point since was meant to be in the air in may. Any Help would be greatly appreciated
