Hello everyone.
Recently I have decided to build a zmr250 mini quad.
After reading a bit and watching a lot of YouTube videos I came up with this cheap setup:

Zmr 250 kit (motors, ESCs, props, FC, pdb) -

FlySky tx and rx -

Battery -

Xt60 connector -
http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32299348227.html

Balance charger -
http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32225711209.html

I would be very happy to know what you think about this setup and do you have any recommendations.

Thank you for reading.

The parts are all pretty cheap, but it would work. You might be better getting HKTR6a transmitter and spending a bit more on your actual build if you are on a very low budget.

Thank you for answering.
I actually am on a low budget and the HKTR6a looks like a way to spend more on the build. Do you have any experience with it? Will it give me a good range?

Yeah, I have one, it will do a range that will make you wet your pants even flying FPV hahaha. Much further than you can see the little dot that was a quadcopter when it was closer. Here is a mod I suggest though so that you can use a Lipo instead of AA batteries.

Don't waste your money on the HKTR6a, there are toy transmitters that have more features. Go with your first choice the FS-i6, a very sophisticated and versatile transmitter at a bargain price. If for nothing else the backlit LCD for quick programming (lotsa options) and 3 way switch.
