First build suggetions wanted.

Hello everyone,

I plan on building my first quadcopter and was wondering what you think about my list so far. I would also like a recommendation on an inexpensive but capable transmitter and receiver. The purpose is to primarily learn how to build a quadcopter, and to build a quality machine capable of mounting a gopro. This is what I have so far.

DJI Naza-M Lite Multi-Rotor Stabilization Controller


LHI 4x 2212 920KV Brushless Motor (CW / CCW) + 4x SIMONK 30A ESC For DJI Phantom


Any suggestions?

Really wanted to fly today. Went to the beach to film some houses that are falling into the ocean but the wind was a bit to much for my nerves. Maybe tomorrow.

This is the only transmitter I have hands-on experience with, but it falls perfectly into the class of capable yet inexpensive. Very happy with it.

Thanks. I just read some reviews and watched a couple of YouTube videos and this remote seems like the way to go, especially for the price.

I have this compact TX and I'm quite happy with it. At only $43 from the US warehouse it's a steal.

Pretty much has all the needed options including failsafes for all channels and back lit LCD. If you need more range, ~1700m, this PPM RX is available. Do note it is a bit larger and heavier.
