First Build kit.

I thought the Naze 32 was thought to be good, or has the technology moved on now?
Thanks for the feedback on the frame.
I assume you killed it translates to you found it good and you built it well. :-) Going to sound old potentially, if by "And Killed it." you meant you crashed it :-)

No I literally killed it. Snapped top & bottom plate & an arm. I got possibly 30 batteries out of it. Which is good for a beginner. The naze32 was good in its day,
It's got the worst gyro, the 6050.
I went through 7 of them in about a year then got an spf3 2years ago which is still flying in this. IMG_20180105_175208087_HDR-1024x575.jpg

I wouldn't buy that wizard X220 but I would buy the kit to make it.
No point in buying somthing to take it apart to fix the faults, going by the picture. Unless they have addressed the problems.

Change of plan I am now looking at buying parts based on this:

FPV goggles are a dream item and the camera may be a later addition.

I would welcome your thoughts and experience's of any of these parts.

Thanks.

Hey Roger.
Only thing that strikes me is the 1 piece bottom plate for the frame. No option to swap out an arm if it breaks.
I've used the same PDB, ESC, FC, and motors without issue. Same with my Flysky I6X.
No experience with the camera, VTX, or goggles. Pretty sure they all play nicely together though.

Qav-r, is a cheap decent tough frame.
Replacement parts widely available.
I see you got the bug roger.
Ebay is your friend :D you just got to sift.
Quadcopters.co.uk. (tomsmithfpv on YouTube, it's his shop.) & RadioC.Com these are 2 other shops I use.

I'd opt for the newer Flysky i6X instead. The included RX is their latest (full range), smaller and much lighter than that old beast you linked to, plus the antennas are easily replaceable if you damage one.

FS-i6X Specifications:
Item: FS-i6X RC Transmitter
Channel: 6-10 (Default 6)
Item: X6B i-BUS 2.4GHz 6CH Receiver
Channels: 6(PWM), 8(PPM), 18(i-BUS)
Range: >300m
Weight: 4.5g

Jackson that 300m range is false.
I get a mile easy with hardly any errors.
Videos on YouTube getting 2+miles.
So that i6x may do 3-4 miles.
But what is a full range rx? As opposed to a TBS crossfire of 30-40km.
