First build, battery?

Hey guys, I built my first 250 quad racer i can list the parts later, but I haven't yet got to using the proper batteries. I was eager to test the 250 racer so I put in a 3cell 1500mah 20c battery. The copter ran for 10 if that seconds and then dropped i heard my naze32 beep a few times and thats it, tried again same thing then half the motors spun, is it cause the lipo is a 20c and you need at least 35c? I got 35 to 75c batteries from hobbyking and just waiting to put my deans connectors on, i've just been busy. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

HI mate should be ok on that battery , was it a fully charged battery

Yup, it was. Great, now what could be the problem spent a lot of money on this

I did borrow the battery from a friend for my airsoft gun but it is puffy. Ugh i'm so frustrated, anyone else know what the issue could be or heard of something similar?

Maybe its a failsafe on the cleanflight software? The first time around the motors start to slow down, even full throttle the copter doesn't zing up fast at all..

Maybe you need to get a new battery before you start farting around..

Turned out to be the battery. Thanks. Now i have issues with pid tuning and my horizon mode isnt stable anymore.

HI mate all the FCB tune the same way, put in to normal mode work on one axis , Lets say the roll axis put I gain to zero up the P gain till you get a high speed wag, now drop gain by 5 points at a time till it stops test this by short sharp inputs on that axis , now up the I gain till a slow wag starts then reduce again till it stops , if the axis are linked then the setting is jump onto all axis if not set all axis to the same numbers as the tuned one , this should now fly well in all modes
