falling for sky

Guys. i have a question. 450 quadcopter 980 kv kk2.1.5 fc dx6i radio. every know and then it will drop out of the sky . about ten feet off the ground and the battery is a full charge. could i have a bad kk2 board a bad radio. thanks in advance for your input.

I guess the first thing to try would be to reorient your antennas. I'm assuming your transmitter's is cocked at a 90° angle to the side. You could also move your RX and/or try different combos/arrangements of it's antennas. Try to get them out in the open. Folks usually keep them at 90° to each other, one up/down, side etc. The point being to always have one not blocked at any time while flying and maneuvering (overhead, away, pitched etc.)
