Failsafe

Hi,
I have finally ordered all of the parts to build my quadcopter (no camera equipment that will be later) and I will be flying it very close at the beginning. I know though once I get comfortable with it I will fly it much farther and will be in a much higher risk of a flyaway. I was wondering which receiver I should get with my Turnigy 9x for a good failsafe that works with my transmitter. These are two potential ones I found (basically the same I think) (--1--, --2--).

Thanks,
Trey

I don't think either is compatible with your X9 but regardless, failsafe is set in your transmitter, not thr receiver.

The Turnigy X9 can accept various modules.

FrSky DJT is compatible with JR transmitters following:
JR: 347, 388, 783, U8, PCM10, PCM10S, PCM10SX, PCM10IIS, 8103, J9303, PX, 9XII, 11XZERO
Turnigy 9X, 9XR and Flysky 9X transmitters.

And in a way the failsafe is set with the RX. There are no menu modes as you would expect.
