F3 Magnum Mini Tower System Problem

Hi everyone, I am having some issues with my build and was hoping to get some opinions on what might be going on.

I started a two inch build yesterday, I have the F3 Magnum Mini Tower System, I wired up my 4 EMAX RS1106 6000KV motors, and I wired up my R-XSR. I then went ahead and plugged in a 3s 850mAh battery with a XT30 connected. The XT30 connector on my drone is 14 gauge.

I heard a small pop instantly and unplugged it. I plugged the battery back in, and the motors all get power, the R-XSR gets power, but the FC does not. Plugging into USB also does not give power to FC.

After a couple hours of looking at it to make sure I did not see any solder shorts, and plugging and unplugging the battery, the FC finally just lit up out of no where....

Now the FC will light up, it also will smoke if I plug a battery in so I am not doing that. Also if I plug in a battery or a USB cable the FC gets extremely hot within seconds. Also plugging into USB still wont give power to the FC, but battery does light up the FC.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on, I am guessing my FC is trashed, but I am fearful of buying another and having the exact same thing happen since I do not know what has caused this?
To me it seems like maybe I pumped too much power through the system, but my FC should be able to handle the batteries I have I think.

Anyways any help is very much appreciated, I want to fly my mini quad so bad!

R. I. P. Little flight controller. Yes them little boards do get hot very quick. I get mine in the air asap. And I'm sure the 6k kv are 2S only. This shouldn't effect the board though. I read recently that some 4in1 esc's are being sent out with the wrong esc-fcb jst cable. And the wire 's need reordering to suit. This maybe the case.
Search for a pinout diagram or pdf for the fcb and check +- coming out the esc.
Did the stack come prebuilt or did it come seperate.

That is incorrect about the motors being for 2s only, they state they can handle what I used, I also have used them for a very long time with these types of motors.
What makes you so "sure"? Also I cannot get it in the air ASAP, when the FC is fried, yes I would love to get it up asap but when something breaks that is a little difficult.

The issue is the board is fried because two solder points got soldered together, that should not have and it blew a voltage regulator. It took a lot of investigating but I was able to pinpoint the issue and just replace the FC and keep the ESC board.

Higher kv usually means less power
.i got racerstar 3800kv 3S
The 6000kv marked as 2S.
But i do run 4S on supposedly 3S.

You didn't say about solder joints.
I was just saying the boards do get hot so get them up ASAP.
You seem pretty knowledgeable so I'm done here.
