Eachines QX80 QX90 and QX95

About a month ago I bought a Eachines QX90 FPV Micro Racing Quad. It's a 90mm size with Brushed motors, receiver, Flight controller and a combination camera and a 5.8ghz VTX. It's BNF and can be ordered in 4 Flavors
1. DSM2 Receiver
2. Flysky Receiver
3. Frsky Receiver
4. No Receiver

I ordered the Frsky to bind it with my Taranis Plus transmitter. It comes with a Micro 8ch Frysky RX and a F3_EVO_Brushed flight controller that can be set up with apps. like Clearflight or Betaflight. Bottom line is this Micro is the cats ass. A couple of years ago the Walkera Ladybird was one of the smallest micro quads and people went crazy for them, well this blows it out of the water. Below is links to them at Banggood.Com

Pretty amazing how quickly technology is advancing in this hobby. Who would have thought even a year ago that we'd be able to take our micro quads and set them up in Betaflight.
 
I'm thinking about building a 110 or a 130 micro with 4 Chaoli motors, micro Naze32 compatible FC, an 8ch FrSky micro receiver and a camera/VTX. I already have the camera/VTX and the motors I just need the frame, receiver and FC. I'm really hooked on these FrSky compatible micros, this new one should be a little better outdoors.

Well here is what I decided on for my next winter project. I decided to ask Santa for the pieces and parts to build me one of these micros from scratch so here we go. Now I could just ask for a BNF but doing it this way allows me to use upgraded parts which should give me a little more bang for the buck. For my new machine I am using a 110mm carbon fiber "H" frame quad chassis with 4 Racerstar 8520 coreless brushed motors. I don't know what the specs. are on the stock motors that come with these Eachine micro's but the Chaoli motors are supposed to be a step up from the stock and the specifications on them is 39000 rpm's and the Racerstar motors are 53500 rpm's so that's a pretty big jump in rpm. Should give this things some serious balls. I'm also replacing the stock SP RACING F3_EVO_Brush flight controller board with the Eachine 32bit ACRO NAZE32_BRUSH flight controller board. I'll be using the Eachine FrSky 8CH PPM SBUS Receiver Compatible FrSky X9D PLUS X9E DJT DFT which is what comes stock in the QX80, QX90 and QX95. I'll be upgrading the camera to the Eachine EF-01 AIO 5.8G 40CH 25MW VTX 800TVL 1/3 Cmos camera. I'll also be adding LED taillights and a battery voltage/lost model buzzer. With the larger size frame and all of the modifications this 110 will actually end up costing just about what a stock BNF QX95 would cost out of the box. One of the other nice features this quad will have over my QX90 is the camera will be mounted out front so you won't see the props through the camera. I'm looking forward to this build, I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Here is a list of parts for the project.

Looks good, however when building micros weight is all important. Skip the buzzer and LEDs, they'll just weigh you down
 
I'm changing the motors on my QX90 from the stock motors to Chaoli. It's been acting pretty unstable after 4 or 5 minutes so I figured it's probably the motors wearing out, we'll see. Here is where I'm at right now, just working up the nerve to attempt soldering those tiny wires.
