Eachine Wizard X220 tx receiver problems PLEASE HELP

I finally got my ARF Wizard X220 in the mail yesterday, which is my second quad not including a tiny whoop. The ARF version comes with one 3 wire lead power, ground, signal sticking out of the top which is supposed to go to the receiver from everything I've read and saw on you tube. I hooked it up to the channel 1 slot on a spare Flysky fs-ia6 receiver I had and was able to bind the tx and rx with no problem. But that's the only thing that went right. Nothing would work and when I connected to beta flight none of the channels would do anything. I'm totally new at this but from what I understand the SP F3 that the wizard runs on works thru ppm? Please correct me if I'm wrong by all means, but does this mean that I need to upgrade to the fs-ia6b receiver which has a designated ppm slot?

That RX will only do PWM which means every channel needs a hook up wire.

This is their newest and most advanced RX.

The PPM and IBus are both 3 wire connectors.

Did your Wizard come with any other wiring harnesses?

I believe this is your FC.

It can be hooked up to your PWM i6, but you need the appropriate harnesses.
