Eachine Racer250 and FS TH9x

I am trying to set up the Eachine Racer 250 with a FS Th9X transmitter using a FrSky D4R-II 4 channel receiver. This is the setup that I use for my 3DR Iris+ and I would like to be able to use the same transmitter for both.

Is this combination possible, or do I need a different receiver?

I see a lot of people using this copter, but I am having trouble finding information on getting it to work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks, I think part of my problem is that the Eachine Racer 250 requires a 6 channel receiver and I was trying to use a 4 channel. I order a new receiver. We will see it that makes things easier.

is that the Eachine Racer 250 requires a 6 channel receiver
Not really.

That said.
FrSky D4R-II 4ch
  • 2 full length antennas (replaceable)
  • One external analog telemetry port and one digital data-stream port (connect to Sensor Hub FSH-01)
  • RSSI (PWM) and CPPM output - If CH3 and CH4 are connected by a jumper, CH1 will output RSSI (PWM), and CH2 will output CPPM for CH1~CH8

That's how I had it set up, with the jumper and using the CPPM, but I couldn't get any response from the controller while I was setting up the software. I will investigate and see if maybe on of my wires needs reversed or something. I'm not sure which direction to go with this.

So you followed the instructions and altered the 3 wire connector?

I still have to check on that wire, but do you know if I have a Lipo Battery that reads 1500 mAh 3S 11.1V 25C can I replace it with one that reads 1500 mAh 3S 11.1V 35C. I know that 25C or 35C has something to do with Amperage. Will 35C burn something up?
