Eachine Racer 250 RTF camera and monitor

Hi guys, Well I'm on my way with my racer 250 (second one) and working on FPV flying. I'm finding it difficult to see the screen that came with the rtf version. I built a sun shade and have been messing with the brightness and contrast. The issue for me is the brightness and darkness seems in the sun its too bright and washed out and in the shade its dark. Its very distracting for me. Since Ive already lost one quad, I also find that Im a bit nervous with the poor quality picture. So I forked over more money for some goggles.

So did I miss anything? Hoping this will be better then the system that came with the E racer.

I also orded 2 sma cables, an AV extention cable and Im going to make a battery extention cable. I have a camera tripod and plastic broom stick. The idea here is that Im going to mount the stick on the tripod, antennas cables and reciever on the stick and get it up in the air. Connect my goggles, sit in a chair and see if I get more distance. I find that I need to sit down to fly fpv. Ill report back about how this jerry-rigging set up works and hiw the helical compares to the patch. :)

Also, for anyone wondering the V2 goggles are a lot better then the eachine monitor that came with the RTF racer 250. Even with the original vtx and camera. Im hoping for improvement with the quantum fpv kit camera and vtx when I get my latest racer 250 hooked up to it.
