DJI Phantom III Loss of video feed

Brand new Phantom III...6 flights in, now I get a red status mssg saying "No Signal"
the copter is flyable, just no video....and minimal OSD info...and wont auto take off.....
I swapped the usb cable...no avail
firmware is the latest update
worked fine till it sat for two months.....DJI is aware of a lightbridge issue...and working on a fix
any one been through this????
any ideas????
maybe I need to return it to place of purchase for exchange?????
 
I had this same issue on my inspire. Turned out to be my cable, but you have already changed it?

Does the usb feel loose? It should still be under warranty if all fails.
 
yes still under warranty....usb does feel loose...I have changed the cable....
nothing seems to make it work right...probably will exchange for new bird
seems to be a problem with DJI....
I should have gotten the Typhoon 4k
 
I would get it fixed. Is yours the 4k model? The typhoon lacks when compared to the quality of video imo. Nothing I have seen on youtube has impressed me.

I am about to purchase the p3p :D
 
Of course its the 4k P3P wonderful copter...when it works...very buggy...
I am NOT impressed with the complexity.....and I am a Computer geek...
I appreciate the X8 for simplicity of flight.... but that's just me.
