I should have my reviews ready in a couple weeks. I have to admit I did not like the mini quad when I first opened it because of the cheap looking tx, but it is really easy to fly and I have only wrecked it twice. One time I hit the gutter of a 2 story house and dropped the throttle all of the way when I should have only did it a little. The second time I crash landed on a storage building :). I think I will really like the gimbal when it gets here, and there is a 600mw 5.8Ghz VTx on it's way too. I have already been suggesting a 128 FOV FPV set they have. But I found they also have a 148 FOV set that is almost exactly the same set.

Yeah, the 148 FOV set is the one they sent me. Before that I had bought a 128 from them. This is the best way to go for a budget FPV, IMHO as it is cheap and good quality. Plus I would not get anything but 32ch, as I got two that were only 8ch and the company had the specs wrong on BOTH the tx and rx.

Hi Jackson they are a dealer or Eachine , this is the message I got today
Neil, I have checked the gimbal, it's available now. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VRDL7ME. You can check it.
It says sold by "Eachinedirect", but looking at the site we see this:

http://www.eachine.com/Eachine-Ligh...-w-Motor&Controller-For-DJI-Phantom-p-80.html

Note $89.99 appears to be the list price.

This is their pic from their own site:

And as I mentioned before this is the actual link/image they use.

At BangGood they are much cheaper.

http://www.banggood.com/Light-FPV-Brushless-Gimbal-wMotors-Controller-For-DJI-Phantom-p-968168.html

The reason I asked is that all Eachine searches lead back to BangGood, none of the other big China outfits carry their product.

Oh well. :)

do those only work with DJI Phantoms, or could I mount it on my rig and control it with my KK2.1.5 and/or spare rx channel ?

I like the Banggood prices better, and they even ship from UK warehouse for 32 quid !

I Think it works like amazon the shop stock is held in the amazon ware house .price is set by the company ,so when you buy you get from amazon stock held for that company

Yes it has a mount plate with 2 screws then jelow rubbers , there is a servo lead to tilt off the FCB and just needs a JST power to plug into the JST lead it comes with , you can cut and solder to the power loom of the quad

It depends on the frame I did have my FCB ontop of my PDB inside the frame and mounted battery on top I used plastic stand offs to mount the PDB and FCB
Or mount gimbal forward and battery behind across frame put a photo on here so we can see the frame

Hopefully you can see from these. The FCB is on top, inside the anti-static box it came in. They're all on plastic stand-offs. It's an SK450 frame

I was actually thinking that if I can find stand-offs long enough, that I could put another frame layer under where the battery is now, battery stays where it is, then the gimbal below. Vertical space permitting. Obviously i'd need some of those longer skids too. I'll figure out something anyway.

Hi your need crab legs any way as the gimbal will hit the floor , Hobby king do some long plastic spacers i have them on mine as I have an extra base plate too from the x525 quad , But if not like i said mount gimbal forward then mount battery on top across the back legs as close to the FCB as poss this will balance with the gimbal

Another thing to consider is that if you have a lot of weight in the centre and the legs throw weight to the arms the plastic could flex or break, there are many legs that bear their weight in the centre.
